Life after Black Irish

It’s been a few days since I posted the last chapterof Black Irish on my blog.  Nope – I haven’t given up.  Just trying to get a few ducks in a row.

First of all, I just got a website –!  It isn’t up and running yet.  I’m still trying to figure out how to build it. 😀

Also, I have my first shipment of copies of Black Irish to sell.  It’s really cool to see the hard copies.  I havent’ been this excited to see new books since I saw the first copies of Peculiar Princess!

On a non-author note, just like everyone else in the world, I have been watching the Olympics.  We’re watching alot of volleyball in our house (we’re actually watching Gibb/Rosenthal play the Russians right now).  If Sissy sees “volleyball” on the guide we watch it.  Now that track and field has started we’ll be watching that too.

And, I’ve started Jake’s t-shirt quilt for college –

It’s actually going really well and fast.  Normally I’m not too excited about projects but this one has been really fun.

Well, back to the Olympics…and sewing…and website building…and eventually writing…
